Extensions are easy to install—it simply takes a click of a mouse—and the right ones can help increase your marketing agency’s productivity exponentially.

The Chrome Web Store features a bunch of SEO extensions that can help you perform daily tasks quicker, or attain your goals more easily. In this top 10 list, I’ll be going over which Extensions I have found the most helpful in growing my digital marketing agency.

1) Buzzsumo

Buzzsumo is one of the most popular FREE SEO Extensions, and there’s definitely a reason for that. It is an Extension that shows the engagement of certain content, and can therefore help you evaluate your own content and come up with new ideas.

Buzzsumo displays the number of engagements something receives on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Reddit. It also displays an article’s Evergreen Score, which is the number of social engagements and backlinks an article receives 30 days after the article is published. The more engagement something receives, the higher the score.

A higher score could result in greater authority for your topic and higher search rankings. You can also see who posted about your content on Twitter, Facebook, and more. You can get a snapshot of how your content is doing at any given time by seeing backlinks the article received, and you can also check out what your competitors are doing and how their content stacks up.

2) SEOQuake

SEOQuake is another free plugin. It conducts an on-page SEO Audit and shows a range of helpful SEO metrics, from your Alexa rank to your Google position, Facebook likes, onsite optimization, and more.

The SEO bar provides an instant snapshot of any web page you’re browsing, giving you the ability to conduct a low-key competitive analysis.

Other notable features include the tool’s keyword analysis, which provides a structured report of all keywords found on the page. This is great for your own keyword research and keyword generation.

3) Check My Links

Check My Links is a link checker that crawls through your webpage and looks for broken links. It highlights which ones are valid and which ones are broken so that you can go in and fix any problems.
